The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul has been active since 1996 in this parish. The Society welcomes any Christians who wish to extend themselves in the service of the poor to consider volunteering with this lay ministry. Our main work involves delivering food hampers throughout the year to those in our community in need and occasionally providing financial assistance after assessment of the request. The Society also organizes the Christmas Hamper program.
In short, the work of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society is the Gospel message in action: I was hungry, I was thirsty, I was a stranger, I was naked, I was sick.... AND YOU CARED!
