The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a global lay Catholic organization. Our mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the Poor with love, respect, justice and joy.

As members of the Society we are Vincentians:

  • We see Christ in anyone who suffers
  • We come together as a family
  • We have personal contact with the poor
  • We help in all possible ways

St. Joseph’s Conference was founded in 1997. We rely on donations from the parishioners of St. Joseph’s Church. With these funds we purchase food and give financial assistance to those in our area. Calls for help come in on our phone line; 403-231-4966. Our volunteers (Vincentians) deliver food hampers yearly three days a week. As well, we operate a Christmas Hamper Program offering a Christmas Hamper meal and gifts for children.

This ministry is very fulfilling and rewarding. Not only will you do God’s work, you will meet like people and come together as a family in Christ. We need you!

There are many opportunities to serve; packing hampers, delivering, answering the phone, stocking the Pantry, just to name a few. For more information please contact us at 403-231-4966 or e-mail us.
