Horizons of Hope Spring 2026 Workshops

The Diocese of Calgary invites individuals and families to deepen their understanding of palliative care and the Catholic Church’s teaching on end-of-life care through Horizons of Hope. This initiative helps Catholics navigate questions about serious illness, suffering, dying, death, accompaniment, and bereavement, offering guidance rooted in Catholic moral and pastoral theology, informed by medical expertise, and shaped by the Compassionate Community model.

Through practical formation and meaningful conversation, the program equips our parishes and families to accompany one another with compassion, confidence, and the hope of Christ.

 Two Locations for Spring 2026: 

• St. Mary's Cathedral Hall (221 18 Ave SW, Calgary).
