Solemnity of Assumption of Mary

Join us in celebrating the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary! This feast, dating back to the 5th century, marks Our Lady's glorious "Birth into heaven" or "Dormition" in Byzantine tradition. Rome began celebrating it in the 7th century, and in 1950, Pope Pius XII proclaimed the Dogma of Mary's assumption into heaven, body and soul. Come and join this special celebration at our parish, on Tuesday, August 15 at 7 pm. No need to RSVP
