About the event
Rooted in Christ’s prayer “that they may all be one,” prayer for Christian unity remains a vital part of the Church’s life and mission.
Parishes are warmly invited to take part in the 2026 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity by incorporating these resources into parish liturgies, prayer services, and ecumenical gatherings, and by inviting parishioners to pray intentionally for unity in their daily lives. Observed from January 18–25, 2026, this annual week calls Christians to remember that we are united in Christ, under the theme “There is one body and one Spirit” (Ephesians 4:4).
